Matt Beasley holds the position of Chief Financial Officer at ArcBest®. Bringing over two decades of public company finance experience to his role, Matt shapes our financial strategy to align with our long-term company objectives. Under his leadership, our finance team is committed to financial excellence, including building on the company’s robust financial position while navigating the path towards sustainable growth.
Matt supports long-term company success with smart cash management and capital allocation strategies — prioritizing building relationships with company lenders and other financial partners and vendors. Since joining the company in 2022, he has positively impacted the organization and worked closely with the leadership team to achieve important milestones, including improving financing terms to reflect the company’s strong credit profile and leading the development of ArcBest’s 2028 financial targets.
Matt was named Chief Financial Officer in May 2023 after serving as Vice President of Treasury since February 2023 and as a Project Executive since January 2022. Prior to joining ArcBest, Matt spent nearly 15 years at Enable Midstream Partners, a large, publicly traded energy infrastructure company, where he led teams responsible for corporate treasury, investor relations, financial planning and analysis, enterprise risk management and project evaluation.
Matt holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance and MIS from The University of Tulsa and a Master of Business Administration in entrepreneurship from St. Edward’s University. Additionally, Matt is a CFA charterholder — one of the highest distinctions in the investment management profession.
